IlluminateU is the division of the Light Source Center focused on multi-faceted programming for youth from elementary school through college graduation.
Every IlluminateU programs has the LSC’s unique, guided-visualization meditations woven into other engaging activities the youth are excited to participate in, such as art, movement, athletics and more.
During programs youth are given techniques to understand what is triggering their stresses, anxieties, anger, depression and more. The programs are suited for children who typically struggle with concentration and focus. The goal of IlluminateU is to provide support, foster resilience, and empower youth.
IlluminateU programs are offered both at the LSC and can be brought out to the community. We welcome partnerships with other youth focused organizations.

This workshop is so much more than painting. Teens will explore their creativity, learn to trust their insights and embark on a journey of self-discovery. Led by the Light Source Center’s experienced teachers, teens will experience short meditations, and plenty of art supplies to help them make the most of their creative explorations. Teens don’t need any art or painting experience. This workshop is about the journey, not the final product. We provide all the supplies.
